Grades by Material
- Steel (P): 通用 grade with AlTiN or CVD coating. CNMG 120408 is the most common size.
- Stainless (M): Sharp edge grade with AlTiN coating. Better chipbreaker design required.
- Cast Iron (K): Uncoated or TiCN coated. Higher toughness grades preferred.
- Aluminum (N): Polished surface, sharp edge, uncoated. Special chipbreaker for aluminum.
- Hardened (H): Submicron grade with TiSiN or AlCrN coating. For HRC 45+.
