We're not a factory. And that's the point.

Most carbide tooling suppliers want you to believe they own the production line. We don't. We own something more useful: the ability to find the right factory for your job, not just the one factory we happen to be stuck with.

Why we built this

If you've ever tried to source carbide tooling from China, you know the drill. Fifty Alibaba messages. Forty-three "Hello dear" replies. Thirty-eight quotes with wildly different prices. Zero clarity on who's actually making what.

We got tired of watching machine shops play roulette with their tooling spend. So we built something we wish existed: a single place where you tell us what you need, and we come back with vetted options — from factories we've actually visited, whose QC reports we've actually read.

The 101 free calculators on this site? They're not an accident. They're our way of putting real engineering knowledge in your hands, for free, before you ever spend a dollar with us. We learn this stuff because we have to — our reputation depends on matching you with tools that actually work.

How we actually work

You send us a spec. We take it to multiple factories — not just one, because no single factory is the best at everything. We compare pricing, audit their QC setup, check lead times, and come back to you with a recommendation. You decide. You pay the factory directly or through us, whichever you prefer. We make our money from a transparent sourcing fee — not from marking up the tools without telling you.

  • Every partner factory is ISO 9001:2015 certified — we check the certificate, not just take their word for it
  • Batch-level traceability comes standard — material cert and inspection report with every shipment
  • We consolidate orders across multiple factories so you deal with one shipment, one customs clearance
  • DDP delivery available — no surprise import costs, no customs headaches

What "quality" actually means to us

We're not metallurgists. But we've spent enough time on factory floors to know what matters. Every product we source has a written specification sheet — raw material grade, coating thickness, edge prep, dimensional tolerance, surface finish. If a batch doesn't match the spec, it doesn't ship. It's that simple.

  • Submicron tungsten carbide substrate — K30 or K40, verified by grain size analysis
  • Coating thickness measured by XRF — no shortcuts, no "trust me"
  • Edge condition inspected at 50× magnification — chips, burrs, or uneven hone = rejected
  • Runout within 0.005 mm on every rotating tool, confirmed by presetter
  • Hardness HRA 92.5 minimum for carbide grades, verified on every batch
ISO-certified carbide tooling testing laboratory — precision metrology clean room

We manage the precision. Partner factories manufacture — we inspect every piece in our standards lab before it ships.

From raw powder to your loading dock

Every tool we ship moves through four checkpoints. Not because it sounds impressive — because it's the only way to guarantee consistency when you're working with a network of factories rather than owning one.

Raw Material

Tungsten carbide powder verified by grain size and cobalt content before anything gets pressed

Precision Grinding

5-axis CNC grinding, edge preparation, coating — all checked in-process, not after the fact

QC Inspection

Dimensional checks on every tool, CMM verification, hardness and coating measured

Shipping

Vacuum-sealed packaging, tracked freight, customs documentation handled end to end

ISO 9001:2015 — every partner factory, every order
Professional technician inspecting carbide end mill
Carbide tooling warehouse — organized packaging

Our team inspects. Our partners produce. Our logistics deliver. You get tools that work.
